See all your campaigns and events at a glance and organise your planning

In the Calendar section of Ideate, you can see all your campaigns and events organised chronologically. You can also access the associated task boards from here, obtain further information on the individual objects and create campaigns and events.


View and filter options

You can also work in the calendar with the various filter and view options available in the different sections of Ideate. Further, you have the possibility to search the calendar to display only campaigns and events that match your search term.

By default, the calendar is displayed in the weekly view. However, you also have the option of selecting other time periods. You can also choose between a calendar view and a list view. Use the arrows to change the time periods or select a specific period by clicking on the date displayed.

Calendar export

You have the option to export your calendar in Ideate to use it outside of Facelift. To do this, click on the download icon to the right of the search input field.

You can now select whether you want to export events, campaigns or both, what your export should be called and which date range you want to view. Finally, select the file format, Excel or CSV file, and click on Export. The export contains all the details that were entered for the individual objects

💡 Filter settings you have made (either manually or because you are in a custom view) will also be applied to the export.

Inspector and activity

If you have selected an object in the calendar by clicking on it, you can open the two areas Inspector and Activity on the right-hand side, which show you further information about the event or campaign.

The Open Campaign / Event button takes you to an overview of the object details and you can also edit them here. Open Taskboard opens the tasks assigned to the object. You can also delete the object via the three-dot menu or change the team assignment.

Inspector

In the Inspector, you can see all the information about the object at a glance. This includes the Details area where you can see the status, the date and the various labels, among other things. You can also view the attachments and receive information about associated campaigns or events as well as the creation process.

Activity

In the activity log you can see which changes were made when and by whom. For example, an adjustment of the title or other object details.

Create an entry

To create a new object, click on Create Entry at the top right of the screen. Next, you need to select whether you want to create a campaign or an event or a milestone and then you can fill it with details. Learn how to create a campaign or an event in this article.
