The Inspector shows you further information about the person you are interacting with (depending on the social network).

To get to the inspector, click on the icon with the magnifier in the top right corner of your inbox.

User Info

The inspector shows the personal information of users that is provided to us via the social network. Some of these can also be restricted by the user in their own privacy settings. You can also see the person's previous activities on your page.

In addition to the provided information, you can add your own notes or assign a creator or user tag. This internal user tag will then be applied to all messages and comments of this person.

In Engage, you can also access a filtered view that shows only items from the selected user. Just click on Show all items related to this user to do this.

💡 If the user has deactivated the display in third-party tools, no data can be displayed in the inspector. This is possible with LinkedIn, for example.

Block users and delete data

Blocking a person is currently only possible on Facebook. You can block a user for example, if they repeatedly violated your guidelines. To do so just click on the three-dot menu.

💡 User data can only be deleted by Company Admins.

To implement the "right to be forgotten" per the GDPR, you can delete all personal data in the Inspector. You must confirm the final deletion, as all collected data is removed from the database once the deletion process is complete. Once the deletion process is completed, you will receive a confirmation email. For users with many database entries, it may take several days for the deletion process to be completed and for you to receive the confirmation email.
