👑 This feature is only included in certain Facelift plans. Find out about plans and prices here.

You can export your Post Plan from Facelift, for example, to make it available to people who do not use Facelift.

There are two ways to export. Either you use the calendar export, which generates a static file of your post calendar, or you let Facelift create an iCal export to display the posts in your external calendar dynamically.

Click on the Export icon in your Post Plan for both options.

Calendar Export

Choose the calendar export to generate a static export of your Post Plan.

Check your filter settings before you create a calendar export. These will also be transferred to your export. This way, you can export only the content that is relevant to you.

You have the option to export an overview of your posts or your events and/or campaigns. In the first step, select what you want to see in your export.

Then assign a file name and select the time period you would like to view in the export.

Finally, select the file format. You can choose between PDF (only for posts), Excel and CSV. With PDF files, you also have the option of adding an overview cover sheet.

With a click on Export, the export is made available to you for download both directly in Facelift and via e-mail.

iCal Export

Select the iCal export to import it into your external calendar. You will then see the corresponding posts in your calendar (e.g. in an Outlook calendar). If there are changes in the Post Plan in Facelift, these will also be displayed directly in your calendar.

Check your filter settings here, too, before you create an iCal export. These will also be transferred to your export. This way, you can export only the content that is relevant to you.

Click on Create Calendar, give the calendar a name and select a colour for a better overview. Then click on Create calendar again to confirm your settings. You will then see the created export in an overview. Move the mouse over the title and click on Copy to clipboard.

The calendar link is now on your clipboard, and you can share it, export it to your calendar or download it as an iCal file by opening it in your browser.

To delete an iCal export, simply click the bin icon next to the Copy to Clipboard button.

💡 The existing calendar subscriptions outside of Facelift are then no longer updated.
