Facelift now supports Mastodon — you can connect your Mastodon account as a profile and manage it alongside your other social media channels. This article walks you through the setup process step by step.

Prerequisites

  • You need admin or profile management permissions in Facelift.

  • You need access to the Mastodon account you want to connect.

How to Connect Your Mastodon Account

  1. Navigate to SettingsProfile SettingsProfiles.

  2. Click + Add in the top right corner.

  3. In the Add profiles dialog, scroll down and select Mastodon – Account from the list of available networks.

  4. A new dialog opens asking you to select your Mastodon server.

    • If your account is on mastodon.social, click the link icon next to it to proceed directly.

    • If your account is on a different server, enter your server URL in the Enter your Mastodon server here field and click the link icon next to it.

  5. You will be redirected to your Mastodon server's authorization page. Review the requested permissions:

    • Full access to your Mastodon account – Read and write access

    • Push notifications – Read and write access

  6. Click Authorize to grant Facelift access to your account.

  7. Once the authorization is complete, Facelift confirms with an Import completed message. Click Close to finish.

Your Mastodon profile is now connected and will appear in your Profiles list, ready to use across Facelift.
