The Taskboard provides a clear overview of all tasks, whether for an entire team or individual users. It allows you to easily track the status of each task, from Open to In Progress to Completed. Tasks can be assigned tags, enabling personalised filters and customised views that fit your specific workflow. The Taskboard also shows how each task relates to other elements within Facelift, such as content items, frames, or stories, providing you with full context at a glance. Additionally, if a due date is specified, it will be displayed directly on the task card.

Managing Tasks: Team Tasks vs. My Tasks

The Tasks section is divided into Team Tasks and My Tasks.

Team Tasks provides a clear overview of all tasks from your entire team. It allows you to easily track the status of each task, from Open to In Progress to Completed. Tasks can be assigned tags, enabling personalised filters and customised views that fit your specific workflow. The Taskboard also shows how each task relates to other elements within Facelift, such as content items, frames, or stories, providing full context at a glance. Additionally, if a due date is specified, it will be displayed directly on the task card.

My Tasks is your personal inbox. As long as the task remains in My Tasks, it is only visible to you. However, as soon as you set a date, the task becomes visible to your entire team and is displayed in Team Tasks. Under Inbox, you can create personalised inboxes for specific task types.

When you create a new task, you can set a due date via the My Tasks tile. Here you can choose between Today, Later, or Anytime.

In Upcoming, you will find tasks scheduled for the future (Later). In Anytime, you will see tasks that do not have a specific due date (Anytime). The Logbook allows you to track past tasks and review your accomplishments.

How to use

When creating a new task, you can add a description, a checklist, attachments, and links to provide all necessary details. You can also define the status, due date, and tags, as well as assign a responsible team member (by default, the task creator is assigned). As mentioned earlier, there is also a My Tasks section, where you can select a due date for your personal tasks.

Subtasks within Other Elements

Tasks can also be created directly within content items, frames, or stories. In this case, they are automatically linked as sub-elements of the respective type, ensuring a clear hierarchy.
