The number of likes from TikTok and Facelift differ

How a different display of likes can occur

There may be a discrepancy between the number of likes in Facelift and TikTok itself.

This might be because the statistics in Facelift refer to the total number - likes that are later removed cannot be measured separately here.

Example:

While TikTok displays e.g. 30 likes for a video for a certain period, the metric in Analyze displays 40 likes for the same period. This means that the video has received 40 likes, but 10 likes have been removed again.

Differences can also arise from retrieving the numbers at different times, as Facelift synchronises with TikTok numbers several times a day but does not do so permanently. Also, keep in mind that the day change in Facelift is based on Universal Time (UTC). This may be different on TikTok.
