The interfaces (APIs) of the different networks partially limit the possibilities of publishing via third-party providers like Facelift. This article summarizes everything you need to know about publishing posts on your Google Business Profile.
Post formats
You can choose between three different formats for posts on your Google Business Profiles.
Offer: Title of the offer and/or 1 image as well as further offer details; additional: voucher code, link, terms and conditions
What's new: Text and/or 1 image
Event: Title of the event and/or 1 image as well as further event details
CTA Buttons
In the What's new and Event post formats, you have the option of adding a CTA button to your post. Choose between the options Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more and Sign up.
Then enter the link that is to be reached via the button.
Timing
The Timing option is available for both the Offer and Event formats. Enter a start and end date to limit the validity of the offer or to specify the period of the event. Check the box Add time to enter a more precise time period.
💡 Remember that you cannot publish an offer or event that is in the past. The planned publication date in Facelift must therefore be after the end date of the offer/event.
