We show you what you can use dashboards for and how to create a dashboard. Decide for yourself whether you want to use a template or create a blank dashboard.

Initial dashboard creation

As soon as you connect a new social media profile to Facelift, a new dashboard will be created automatically.

💡 Please note that after connecting a new social media profile with Facelift, your data will not be available immediately. It can take up to 24 hours until your corresponding dashboard is filled with data.
As soon as your data has been initially synchronised, all further dashboards created are immediately enriched with data.

Create a dashboard from a template

If you have chosen a ready-made dashboard template, Facelift will create a dashboard for the selected social media profile.

In this dashboard, you will see all available KPIs of your profile as well as useful diagrams, which you can adapt to your needs via the widget settings. After set-up, the dashboard shows you the last 7 days. Of course, you can adjust this after the creation.

The time periods of the widgets can be changed for the entire dashboard with a selection at the top right or individually per widget. To customise the time period for a widget, click on the cogwheel icon of the widget to open the widget's settings and customise the time period there.

Create a custom dashboard

👑 Custom dashboards are only included in certain Facelift plans and add-ons. Find out about plans and prices here.

After you have selected Create Blank Dashboard, you will land on the space of your newly created blank dashboard.

While creating an individual dashboard, you should always save the intermediate status (top right). Dashboards are not currently saved automatically.

First, give your dashboard a name in the top left-hand corner and a tab name. Optionally, you can give your dashboard a description to find it more easily. Select Private Dashboard if none of your colleagues should see the dashboard.

💡 Prepare your dashboard in private mode and share it with your colleagues as soon as the dashboard is ready.

Add widgets

Below the general settings, you will find the widgets for your dashboard. The selection allows you to combine essential information from many sources in one overview. Use the search box or category drop-down menu to find the widget you want and drag it onto your empty dashboard.

Widget settings

First, adjust the widget's size and then click on the cogwheel symbol to open the widget settings. Here you can set the following things:

  • Title: That should appear on your widget

  • Social media profile: For which profile do you want to display the data

  • Time period: For which time frame do you want to display the data

💡 If you set specific start and end dates, the widget will only ever display this exact time period. If you would rather see the most recent data, you can select Last 30 days, for example.

  • KPIs, chart or information: What type of data do you want to display and in what styling

💡 With KPI widgets, you can display as many KPIs as you like in the same widget and display reference values from the previous period and percentage values below the KPI values.

Save your progress once you have filled your dashboard as desired.

Manage dashboard

In the three-dot menu, you will find various options for managing your dashboard.

Team assignment

After saving, you can define which teams are allowed to see and access the dashboard.

Clone

If you have created a helpful dashboard and would like to use the same dashboard for another social media profile, we recommend you clone the dashboard. In the cloned dashboard, go to the individual widgets and select the new social media profile.

Delete

If you want to delete the dashboard, click on Delete.

Edit

This will take you back to edit mode to change your dashboard or adapt it to new needs.

Print Preview

You can also use the print preview to save the dashboard as a PDF - or print it out.
