A metric refers to a quantifiable measure used to assess the performance, engagement, and impact of social media activities and content. In Facelift Analyze, each metric consists of two different views: the metric overview and the metric detail view.

The overview provides a quick overview of the data.In the detail view, various settings can be made, and further information and definitions of the metric can also be found here.

Metric Database

Some metrics have a key symbol next to the headline. This symbol indicates that this metric is based on private data. This means that this metric is only available for your own profiles, but not for your benchmarking profiles.

Metrics without a key symbol are based on public data. This means that they are available for both your own and your benchmarking profiles.

Metric Overview

The metrics overview is what you see when you open your dashboards. It allows you to access your data directly. The date is based on the settings in the header bar. To change the date range, change the date in the header bar or in the Metric Detail View.

On the left-hand side, the following information is displayed:

  • the metric name and the corresponding network

  • quantity of profiles you selected and for which period

On the right-hand side, the metric overview offers you the following options:

  • reloading the metric

  • exporting the individual metric as PNG, PDF, XLSX or CSV

Metric Detail View

You can access the metric detail view by clicking on the headline of the metric or on the whitespace in the header.

The metric detail view allows you to make adjustments to the metric itself. You will also find further information on the metric, definitions, and formulas.

Metric Settings

The settings for your metrics and dashboards, like the selected profiles and date range, are based on the entries in the header bar. However, you can also change the settings for individual metrics, such as choosing different profiles or a different date range.

To do this, click the gear icon to the right of the metric to open its settings and make your changes. Click Apply to confirm.

If you want to revert your changes, simply click Clear overrides.

Export metrics

It is possible to download individual metrics, as well as entire dashboards, in order to share them easily.

To download individual metrics, click on the download button to the left of the metric.

A download is possible in the formats PNG, PDF, XLSX and CSV.

💡To download a complete dashboard, click on the export button at the top right of the header bar.
