Overview and explanation of all Instagram Widgets

Instagram Account Insights

In this widget we show you charts for different KPIs.

Current: Selected period

Previous: Previous period

The previous period is automatically defined, it is immediately before the selected period. Both time periods are of equal length.

💡 If you hover over the graphs with your mouse, the exact data at the selected time will be displayed.

The following KPIs are available:

  • Follower History: Shows the history of followers of your profile for the selected period and also the history of the followers in the previous period (previous period).

  • Following History: Shows the history of profiles you follow in the selected period and beyond that of the previous period.

  • Post History: Shows the sum of all published posts of your profile for the selected period.

  • Hashtags History: Shows the hashtags used and their number in your selected period.

  • Video History: Shows the history of all published video posts of your profile for the selected period.

  • Photo History: Shows the history of all published photo contributions of your profile for the selected period.

  • Average SentiSense: Shows the development of your manually set sentiment on Instagram items (comments and posts) in the selected period.

  • Engagement Rate: Shows the development of engagement (profile clicks, comments and likes) of your profile, in relation to followers, within the selected period.

  • Follower states: Shows the increase or decrease in followers within the selected period.

  • Engagement by Post Type: Breaks down the engagement of your profile to photo, video and carousel posts.

  • Engagement by Weekday: Show on which day of the week how many interactions have taken place.

  • Reach by Weekday: Shows the accumulated range of your profile broken down to the days of the week.

Instagram Account Reach and Impressions

This widgets shows the reach and impressions of an Instagram account for a maximum period of 31 days.
The graph can display the daily values or the totalized values for the last 7 or 28 days.

  • Reach: Shows the total number of people who have seen your Instagram content (posts, stories, ads, etc.) at least once. If a post is shown to a person 5 times, the reach increases by 1.

  • Impressions: Shows the frequency of content (posts, stories, ads, etc.) shown to people in the selected period. If a post is shown to a person 5 times, the content has generated 5 impressions and the number of impressions increases by 5.

Instagram Posts

This widget shows you the latest Instagram posts of your selected Instagram Profile.

The number of posts displayed can be defined in the Limit field and ranges from at least 10 to a maximum of 100 posts. The list is set up chronological.

In addition, you have the option to filter by tags from the publisher.

Instagram KPIs

This widget shows you the most important KPIs for an Instagram profile for a certain period of time. Comparative KPIs can also be viewed. The following KPIs can be viewed in the widget:

  • Posts: Shows the total number of published posts (paid and organic) in the selected period.

  • Followers: Shows the total number of followers, regardless of the selected period.

  • Follows: Shows the total number of Instagram channels subscribed to by the profile, regardless of the selected period.

  • New Followers: Shows the growth of new followers in the selected period.

  • Video Posts: Shows the number of published video posts in the selected period.

  • Album posts: Shows the number of published carousel posts in the selected period.

  • Photo Posts: Shows the number of published photo posts in the selected period.

  • Daily Average Reach: Daily average of people who have seen your Instagram content (posts, stories, ads, etc.) at least once. If a person sees a post 5 times, the reach increases by 1.

  • Impressions: Shows the frequency of content (posts, stories, ads, etc.) shown to people in the selected period. If a post is shown to a person 5 times, the content has generated 5 impressions and the number of impressions increases by 5.

  • Profile Views: Shows the number of all users who have accessed your profile, regardless of whether they are looking for an ad or a post.

  • Text Message Clicks: Number of clicks to send a message to your profile.

  • Website Clicks: Number of all clicks on the website button on your profile.

  • Call Clicks: Number of users who clicked your phone number in your Instagram profile.

  • Direction Clicks: Number of users who called up the directions via your profile.

  • Email Clicks: Number of users who clicked the email button on your profile.

  • Sum of Interactions: The sum of all profile views, text message clicks, website clicks, phone call clicks, get directions clicks and email contacts in the selected time period.

Engagement Instagram KPIs

This widget shows you a list of your connected Instagram profiles including a display of the open items of these pages from the Facelift Engagement.

Left column (single person): Open items in Engagement that are assigned to you.

Middle column (two people): Open items in Engagement that are assigned to others.

Right column (mailbox): Open items in Engagement that are not assigned to any owner.

Instagram Post Performance

The Instagram Post Performance Widget shows you helpful KPIs to keep track of your post's performance.

You will see a short post preview in the table. You also get more insights into your posts with the following KPIs:

  • Type: Shows the post type. This includes images, reels, videos and carousels.

    Using the filter in the widget settings, you can filter by one or more types.

    💡 The Instagram interface (API) only transmits complete data for organic reels. For promoted reels, data such as likes, comments and views are displayed, but no impressions or reach. These values are displayed as 0.

  • Impressions: Shows the frequency of content (posts, ads) shown to people in the selected period. If a post is shown to a person 5 times, the content has generated 5 impressions and the number of impressions increases by 5.
    This metric is available for images, videos and carousels.

  • Reach: Shows the total number of people who have seen your Instagram content (posts, ads) at least once. If a post is shown to a person 5 times, the reach increases by 1.

  • Engagements: Shows the number of interactions (likes, comments, saves and shares) on your post.

  • Engagement Rate: The sum of likes, shares and saves divided by reach.

  • Likes: Shows the sum of likes on your post.

  • Comments: Shows the number of comments on your post.

  • Saved: Shows the number of times your post has been saved.

  • Shares: Shows the number of times your post has been shared.

  • Plays: Shows how often your reel has been played. This is a KPI exclusively for reels.

Instagram Story Performance

This widget shows you the success of your Instagram stories based on important KPIs. You can see at a glance what type of story it was, a short story preview and the following KPIs:

  • Impressions: Shows the frequency of stories shown to people in the selected period. If a story is shown to a person 5 times, it has generated 5 impressions and the number of impressions increases by 5.

  • Reach: Shows the total number of people who have seen your stories at least once. If a story is shown to a person 5 times, the reach increases by 1.

  • Answers: Shows the number of replies you have received to your story.

  • Exits: Shows how many times your story has been left early.

  • Next story taps: Number of taps to see the next photo or video in your stories.

  • Previous story taps: Number of taps to see the previous photo or video in your stories.
